Peter Sheppard, Head of Global L&D Ecosystem, Ericsson

An expert at leading transformation in corporate learning. Leading change in learning strategy, technology, business alignment, impact measurement, leading edge learning methods, learning design and operations. A driver of corporate learning to achieve business impact. Commercially focused with the ability to inspire improvement both globally and at European levels.

In 2007 I began to specialise more in learning & development due to a strong belief in its business relevance and the ability of individuals to improve and grow. Not looking back I progressed through UK, European and global roles having shown what can be achieved to make learning an important activity at all levels of an organisation. My current role is focused on leading an international team to develop Ericsson's capability as a learning organisation.

A broad HR background in L&D, talent management, employee relations and general HR. Worked with all aspects of business including sales, manufacturing, research and development. Experience in "blue chip" tech companies: IBM, Philips Electronics and Ericsson.

As a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and Learning & Performance Institute I am keen to learn from others with a constant open mind on the best ways to learn within organisation. International speaker on key L&D topics.

"Degreed has uniquely built its own technology category from the ground up and it is a hot one. They have also provided a blueprint for what best-in-class looks like as a product and a company."
